Mass Marketing Law and Legal Definition
Mass marketing is a marketing strategy that attempts to reach every consumer, rather than targeting a particular market segment. It goes after the whole market with one offer. Such strategy is effective only for products that appeal to a broad cross-section of consumers, like aspirin or orange juice. It cannot be used for products with limited appeal. It is generally more expensive than direct marketing media. Traditionally, mass marketing is done through radio, television and newspapers.
