Match Grant Law and Legal Definition

Match grant refers to the agreement between a government agency and private operation to match donations.

In refugee law, match grant is a public/private partnership agreement between a Voluntary Resettlement Agency and the Department of State under which refugee resettlement costs are shared between government and a community. Match grant program is one that is primarily funded by the U.S. Government through our national affiliates.
