Material Change Law and Legal Definition
According to 6 CFR 37.3 (Title 6 - Homeland Security; Chapter I - Department Of Homeland Security, Office Of The Secretary; Part 37 -Real Id Driver's Licenses And Identification Cards; Subpart A – General), Material change means “any change to the personally identifiable information of an individual as defined under this part. Notwithstanding the definition of personally identifiable information below, a change of address of principal residence does not constitute a material change.”
