Medium-Sized Business Law and Legal Definition
A medium-sized business is a business that is conducted with less than 500 employees. Medium-sized businesses can include construction and real estate companies and farmers. In United States v. Texas Commerce Bancshares, Inc., 1993 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 11698, 6-7 (D. Tex. 1993), the court observed that “"Medium-sized business" means a business with annual sales from approximately $ 5 million to approximately $ 100 million.”
