Merchant Lessee Law and Legal Definition
Merchant lessee means a lessee who carries on business of goods similar to those being leased by him/her. Following is an example of a statue statute defining the term merchant lessee. Pursuant to ORC Ann. 1310.01 (A) (20) "Merchant lessee" means a lessee that is a merchant with respect to goods of the kind subject to the lease.
