Microenterprise Institution Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 22 USCS § 2214a (7) [Title 22. Foreign Relations And Intercourse; Chapter 32. Foreign Assistance; International Development; Other Programs; Microenterprise Development Assistance; Miscellaneous Provisions], the term microenterprise institution means “a not-for-profit entity that provides services, including microfinance, training, or business development services, for microenterprise clients in foreign countries.”
