Middle Distillate Monitoring Program Law and Legal Definition
According to 42 USCS § 8532, the Secretary will establish and maintain a data collection program for monitoring, at the refining, wholesale, and retail levels, the supply and demand levels of middle distillates on a periodic basis in each state of the U.S. This program will provide the prompt collection of relevant demand and supply data and the submission to Congress of periodic reports. All data and information collected under the Middle Distillate Monitoring Program will be available to Congress and committees of Congress, and to appropriate State and Federal agencies and the public.
