Middle School Law and Legal Definition
Middle School is a level of schooling. It is the time of transition between elementary and high schools. In the U.S., middle school takes place after elementary school and before high school.
Generally, the middle school grades are sixth, seventh and eighth grade. Middle school contains no grade below grade four and no grade above grade eight.[O.C.G.A. § 20-2-291].
