Minor Water Power Project Law and Legal Definition
According to 18 CFR 4.30 [Title 18 Conservation of Power and Water Resources; Chapter I Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Department of Energy; Subchapter B Regulations Under the Federal Power Act; Part 4 Licenses, Permits, Exemptions, and Determination of Project Costs], minor water power project means any licensed or unlicensed, existing or proposed water power project that would have a total installed generation capacity of 2,000 horsepower (1.5 MW), or less.
