Miscellaneous Oil Spill Control Agent Law and Legal Definition
According to 40 CFR 300.5 [Title 40. Protection Of Environment; Chapter I. Environmental Protection Agency; Subchapter J. Superfund, Emergency Planning, And Community Right-To-Know Programs, Part 300 National Oil And Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan, Subpart A Introduction], ‘miscellaneous oil spill control agent’ is “any product, other than a dispersant, sinking agent, surface washing agent, surface collecting agent, bioremediation agent, burning agent, or sorbent that can be used to enhance oil spill cleanup, removal, treatment, or mitigation.”
