Misreading Law and Legal Definition
Misreading refers to misinterpretation caused by inaccurate reading of a deed or a statute. The actual misreading of an instrument is evidence of fraud in its procurement.
Misreading a rule or statute does not constitute excusable neglect.[Deym v. Von Fragstein, 1997 U.S. App. LEXIS 28889 (6th Cir. 1997)]
