Mixed Use Development Law and Legal Definition
Mixed use development refers to the use of a building, set of buildings, or neighborhood for more than one purpose.
The following is a state law that provides a statutory framework regarding mixed use development:
Mixed use development is a development containing a mix of some or all of multi-family residential, single-family residential, commercial, institutional, industrial and other uses, all conceived, planned and integrated to create vibrant, workable, livable and attractive neighborhoods.
