Mixed Waste Law and Legal Definition
According to 42 USCS § 6903 [Title 42. The Public Health and Welfare; Chapter 82. Solid Waste Disposal; General Provisions], the term "mixed waste" means waste that contains both hazardous waste and source, special nuclear, or by-product material subject to the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 (42 U.S.C. 2011 et seq.).
