Mobile Goods Law and Legal Definition
Mobile Goods are those goods that are normally used in more than one jurisdiction. Some examples of mobile goods are:
1.shipping containers; or
2.road-construction machinery.
They are held by the debtor as equipment or leased by the debtor to others. It is governed under the Uniform Commercial Code. The procedure for perfecting a security interest in mobile goods is generally defined by the law of the state where the debtor is located.[Konkel v.
