Mobilia Situm Non Habent is A Latin Phrase which means movables have no situs or local habitation or established forum. In the eye of the law movables or personal property has no locality for most purposes. It does not mean that personal property has no visible locality. In a qualified sense movable accompanies the owner wherever a person goes, and they may deal with it and dispose of it according to the law of owner’s domicile. If s/he dies intestate, the lawof the place where the property is situated governs its disposal. Owner’s domicile fixes the rights and shares of the several distributees.
