Moot Case means a case which has already been resolved by a court of law. The term moot case is also used to signify a case that is entirely fictional or in the form of an abstract question as it is based upon a fact or right which is not recognizable by law. For instance, a plea seeking a decision in advance about a right before it has actually been asserted or contested.
