Motion Hour Law and Legal Definition
Motion hour refers to the time when motions are presented before the judge. Generally, motions and pleas are presented to and filed with the clerk, who puts them on a calendar to be called when court opens. Courts may designate a particular time and day for motion hour. The petitions are called out during motion hour for the purpose of affording opportunity for objection to the same.
