Motor Fuel Quality Act Law and Legal Definition
Motor Fuel Quality Act is a state legislature in the U.S. The Act states that there should be uniformity among the quality specifications for all liquid motor fuels, except aviation fuel, marine fuel, and liquefied petroleum gases, and establishes a sampling, testing, and enforcement program.
However, it is unlawful for market motor fuels in any manner that may deceive or tend to deceive the purchaser as to the nature, price, quantity, and quality of a motor fuel. The Act also requires for the registration of motor fuel.
