Multiple Counts Law and Legal Definition
Black’s law dictionary defines multiple counts as several separate causes of action or charged offenses contained in a single pleading or indictment. In other words, multiple counts include two or more distinct causes of action or allegations which state that a defendant committed an offense contained in a complaint, indictment, information, or similar pleading.
