Multiple Criminal Convictions (Immigration) Law and Legal Definition
According to 8 USCS 1227 [Title 8. Aliens and Nationality; Chapter 12. Immigration and Nationality; Immigration; Inspection, Apprehension, Examination, Exclusion, and Removal], "Multiple criminal convictions" means "any alien who at any time after admission is convicted of two or more crimes involving moral turpitude, not arising out of a single scheme of criminal misconduct, regardless of whether confined therefore and regardless of whether the convictions were in a single trial, is deportable."
