Music Publisher Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 17 USCS § 1001 (9), [Title 17. Copyrights; Chapter 10. Digital Audio Recording Devices and Media; Subchapter A. Definitions] a music publisher “is a person that is authorized to license the reproduction of a particular musical work in a sound recording.”
