Panel Proceeding Law and Legal Definition
According to 37 CFR 41.2 [Title 37 Patents, Trademarks, and Copyrights; Chapter I United States Patent and Trademark Office, Department of Commerce; Subchapter A General; Part 41 Practice before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences; Subpart A General Provisions], panel proceeding means a proceeding in which final action is reserved by statute to at least three Board members, but includes a non-final portion of such a proceeding whether administered by a panel or not.
