Panoramic Irradiator Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 36.2 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 36 -- Licenses and Radiation Safety Requirements for Irradiators; Subpart A -- General Provisions] the term panoramic irradiator means “an irradiator in which the irradiations are done in air in areas potentially accessible to personnel. The term includes beam-type irradiators.”
