Paper Levy Law and Legal Definition
Paper levy refers to levy of a writ of attachment upon real estate without going on the land. The paper levy of an attachment will be done without seizure or taking of possession of the property intended to be bound by the levy. Upon the writ of attachment, the levy of an execution will be made by mere endorsement.
