Passport Acceptance Agent Law and Legal Definition
According to 22 CFR 51.1[Title 22-Foreign Relations; Chapter I; Department of State; Subchapter F; Nationality and Passports; Part 51 Passports], a 'passport acceptance agent' means a U.S. national designated by the Department (Department of State of the United States of America) to accept passport applications and to administer oaths and affirmations in connection with such applications.
