Patent misuse is defined as “extending the scope of a patent beyond the monopoly conferred by the patent laws. The particular form or method by which the monopoly is sought to be extended is immaterial." [Princo Corp. v. ITC, 2010 U.S. App. LEXIS 18101, 77-78 (Fed. Cir. Aug. 30, 2010)].
