Patient Navigator Law and Legal Definition
Patient navigator is an organization or health care professional who acts as an intermediary with medical personnel, and assist families with information about medical treatment options and available insurance coverage. They also assist cancer patients, caregivers, and families in bridging the gaps within the health care system, and decreasing barriers to care by utilizing resources and giving timely quality care.
