Permanent Radiographic Installation Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 34.3 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 34 -- Licenses for Industrial Radiography and Radiation Safety; Requirements for Industrial Radiographic Operations; Subpart A -- General Provisions], the term permanent radiographic installation means “an enclosed shielded room, cell, or vault, not located at a temporary jobsite, in which radiography is performed.”
