Permanent Resident Card Law and Legal Definition
Permanent resident card is an identification card for a lawful permanent resident within a given country. The purpose of issuing a permanent resident card is to allow an individual to permanently live as a resident in the country that issued the identification card. The card holder can reside and take employment in that country. In the U.S. the permanent resident card is known as Green Card, and in Australia it is known as yellow Card.
