The Personal Identification Secure Comparison and Evaluation System (PISCES) is a sophisticated border management tool to fight helps the global war against terrorism. This data base system is largely based on biometrics supported by the U.S. Department of State Terrorist Interdiction Program.
The PISCES is used for countries in improving their watch listing capabilities by providing a mainframe computer system to facilitate immigration processing in half a dozen countries. PISCES workstations installed throughout a country are linked by wide area network to the participating nation’s immigration, police or intelligence headquarters.
