Personal Service Activity Law and Legal Definition
A personal service activity means any business enterprise whose primary purpose is the administration of personal services. For instance, services rendered in the fields of architecture, health, law, engineering, accounting and similar other fields are personal service activities. Legal advice and medical treatment provided to individuals or groups also falls under the definition of personal service activity. The generation of material income under a personal service activity does not require the use of any capital.
