Place-of-Wrong Rule Law and Legal Definition
Place of wrong rule is a principle that the law of the state of the injury or death may be considered and applied. This is also referred to as lex loci delicti, which a Latin word meaning law of the place where the tort or other wrong was committed. This rule has not much relevance now and has been rejected by many states.
