Plant-Referenced Simulator [Energy] Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 55.4 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 55 -- Operators' Licenses; Subpart A -- General Provisions], the term plant-referenced simulator means “a simulator modeling the systems of the reference plant with which the operator interfaces in the control room, including operating consoles, and which permits use of the reference plant's procedures.”
