Pleasure Vessel Law and Legal Definition
According to 22 CFR 41.0 [Title 22. Foreign Relations; Chapter I. Department of State; Subchapter E. Visas; Part 41. Visas: Documentation of Nonimmigrants under the Immigration and Nationality Act, as Amended; Subpart A. Passsport and Visas not Required for Certain Nomimmigrants], the term 'pleasure vessel' means “a vessel that is used exclusively for recreational or personal purposes and not to transport passengers or property for hire.”
