According to 7 CFR 210.2 [Title 7—Agriculture; Subtitle B -- Regulations Of The Department Of Agriculture; Chapter II -- Food And Nutrition Service, Department Of Agriculture; Subchapter A -- Child Nutrition Programs - Part 210 -- National School Lunch Program; Subpart A – General], point of service means “that point in the food service operation where a determination can accurately be made that a reimbursable free, reduced price or paid lunch has been served to an eligible child.”
