Polygraph Examination Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 709.2 [Title 10 Energy; Chapter III Department of Energy; Part 709 Counterintelligence Evaluation Program; Subpart A General Provisions], polygraph examination means “all activities that take place between a Polygraph Examiner and an examinee (person taking the test) during a specific series of interactions, including the pretest interview, the use of the polygraph instrument to collect physiological data from the examinee while presenting a series of tests, the test data analysis phase, and the post-test phase.”
