Polygraph Instrument Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 709.2 [Title 10 Energy; Chapter III Department of Energy; Part 709 Counterintelligence Evaluation Program; Subpart A General Provisions], polygraph instrument means “a diagnostic instrument used during a polygraph examination, which is capable of monitoring, recording and/or measuring at a minimum, respiratory, electrodermal, and cardiovascular activity as a response to verbal or visual stimuli.”
