Pool Irradiator Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 36.2 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 36 -- Licenses and Radiation Safety Requirements for Irradiators; Subpart A -- General Provisions] the term pool irradiator means “any irradiator at which the sources are stored or used in a pool of water including panoramic wet-source-storage irradiators and underwater irradiators.”
