Port of Exit Law and Legal Definition
The port of exit refers to that point where a foreign national departs the United States. At this location an individual usually, shall undergo an examination of identity, verification of biometric data, and examination of the validity of his /her passport and visa. This is done in order to verify that the visitor was "in status" during the period since the visitor entered the United States.
