Posted price refers to an announced or advertised price indicating what a firm will pay for a commodity or the price at which the firm will sell it.
In crude oil pricing, posted price means a written statement of crude oil prices circulated publicly among sellers and buyers of crude oil in a particular field in accordance with historic practices and generally known by sellers and buyers within the field.
