Prayer conference is a conference between the trial judge and the parties’ attorneys. Ordinarily it is held to develop a jury charge. However, prayer conferences are also during trial. The parties to the case do not participate in such conferences. Prayer conference is one of the most important parts of a trial. It is also known as a charge conference.
