Pre-Disposition Report (Juvenile) Law and Legal Definition
Pre-Disposition Report (PDR) is a document prepared by a Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) probation officer for a youth in preparation for a judicial disposition of the youth’s case. By law the PDR is to report the result of a multi-disciplinary assessment of the youth's priority needs, an individualized plan for treatment of those needs,and a recommendation of the most appropriate placement to meet the youth’s needs in a setting that provides a level of security sufficient to ensure public safety.
