Predecessor Guaranty Authority Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 22 USCS § 2198 (f) [Title 22. Foreign Relations And Intercourse; Chapter 32. Foreign Assistance; International Development; Other Programs; Overseas Private Investment Corporation] the term predecessor guaranty authority means “prior guaranty authorities (other than housing guaranty authorities) repealed by the Foreign Assistance Act of 1969, sections 202(b) and 413(b) of the Mutual Security Act of 1954, as amended, and section 111(b)(3), of the Economic Cooperation Act of 1948, as amended (exclusive of authority relating to informational media guaranties).”
