Preliminary Estimate (Eminent Domain) Law and Legal Definition
Preliminary estimate is a statement of value made on filing a declaration of taking under the power of eminent domain. Such estimate to be based upon a valid appraisal should be made in good faith, on each parcel in the proceeding. [Jacksonville Expressway Authority v. Bennett, 158 So. 2d 821 (Fla. Dist. Ct.
