According to 22 CFR 42.65 [Title 22. Foreign Relations; Chapter I. Department of State; Subchapter E. Visas; Part 41. Visas: Documentation of Nonimmigrants under the Immigration and Nationality Act, as Amended; Subpart G. Application for immigrant Visas], the term 'prison record' means “an official document containing a report of the applicant's record of confinement and conduct in a penal or correctional institution.”
