Private Child Placing Agency Law and Legal Definition
A private child placing agency is an association created to accept temporary, permanent, or legal custody of children. [ ORC Ann. 2151.011]. The agency places the children for foster care or adoption. An agreement for temporary custody transfers the temporary custody of a child to a public children services agency or a private child placing agency.
