Professional Review Body Law and Legal Definition
The term professional review body in the context of health care means a health care entity and the governing body or any committee of a health care entity which guides and handles professional review activity. It also includes any committee of the medical staff of such an entity when assisting the governing body in a professional review activity. [42 USCS § 11151 (11)].
