Pronouncement of Judgment Law and Legal Definition
Pronouncement of judgment is the rendition of judgment by the court. It is the rendition of judgment and direction for the entry thereof.
The judgment of a district court of appeal is "pronounced" by it when it directs the entry of judgment, which ordinarily is at the time when its opinion is filed. [People v. Walker, 76 Cal. App. 192, 200 (Cal. App. 1926)].
