Public Goods and Services Law and Legal Definition
Public goods and services are those goods and services whose benefits cannot be withdrawn for non payment, and the benefits that may be consumed by one person without reducing the amount of the product available for others. The Federal government provides various goods and services such as roads, sidewalks, and bridges. Other public goods include parks, museums, and libraries. The government may also supply water and electricity for the people. Public goods and services also include public health care and transport systems, police protection and garbage collection.
