Public Participation [Federal Elections] Law and Legal Definition
According to 11 CFR 9407.2 [Title 11 -- Federal Elections; Chapter II -- Election Assistance Commission; Part 9407 -- Implementation of the Government in the Sunshine Act], the term public participation means “the presentation or discussion of information, raising of questions, or other manner of involvement in a meeting of the Commission by one or more members of the public in a manner that contributes to the disposition of Commission business.”
